I was thinking about all of the great Instagram and Facebook pictures I am seeing lately and something hit me ...why am I not painting these pictures??!!   So while things are slowing down over these next couple of months... I would love to do a commission project through Spring/summer...

What will you paint?  your favorite landscape picture, home, camp, car, dance shoes, wedding shoes.. I will also paint people and pets ( extra charge of $25 for 2 or more pets or people in a photo ).

What style will they be painted in?  Painting will be painted in the loose manner shown below.

What medium will you use?  I use acrylic paints and the paintings will be on canvas board.  They are ready to frame and given the sizing you will have no problem buying a frame and popping the painting in.

Sizes- 2 sizes available, 8" x 10"/ $100 and 11" x 14"/$150

How it works- Send a digital picture to ngreicoart@gmail.com, you can also send more than one photo and I will chose.  I will send a reply to approve the photo which will have a link to ngreicoart.bigcartel.com where you can choose your size, drop it in your cart and conveniently check out through paypal.

If you are local?  Please let me know in your photo e-mail and I will make arrangements to delivery the painting to you..you may still pay with paypal through the shop.

 I was asked to paint these magnolias because they represent fond memories of Charleston SC....I think It came out quite well... It is a very large 4ft x 4ft painting and painted for a particular wall a new master bedroom!

Personalized Fingerprint Tree

Original art....personalized fingerprint tree...  I have done quite a few of these trees lately..

 this one I just happened to have left over...It was for a little girls first birthday (notice the number 1 on the tree)  All of her family members and friends at her party "signed" this art with their fingerprint using an ink pad..

 then it was framed and hung in her bedroom!

I have cut routered and primed these here pieces of wood... i will be creating a whole slew of new signs..with garden and herb themes ...street name signs and much more...some made to look really old or not..something for everyone... 

 I am finishing up a few projects right now... and trying to wrap a few others up...but I have some really interesting  and exciting ideas and projects to share with you ...

lots to talk about....

 Ok so my blogging has come to a screeching halt...but I'm trying to get back on track... there is soooo much going on ...where do I start...hmmmm chalkboards.. a very popular design item that is popping up in kitchens entries and anywhere there is wall space...

 I made this here chalkboard...it hangs in the kitchen..

 it can be used a a reminder board or menu or just a daily saying...

  and this here chalkboard my husband made out of scraps of molding that we had left after we replaced our windows...we use it as part of the decor and change what it says periodically...

ok..and currently on the home front we have begun the long...long..long and extra time consuming task of refacing and painting our kitchen cabinets..

the cabinets are flat..so we are adding trim in a shaker style...

we are also adding molding to the cabinets and soffet..everything will be painted elegant white like the trim in every other room in the house... and we will be cutting sections of the cabinetry to make room for the microwave..so we can maximize counter space as well as cutting out  part of the soffet and an upper cabinets to lighten  the kitchen up......everyday we work on more doors...my husband is meticulous about sanding..what a mess...

As DIY-ers we are doing pretty much everything ourselves to cut costs...we have been asked why we just didnt buy all new doors...well...it is only costing us  about 6 bucks a door to do it this way and also what fun would that be if we didnt do everything ourselves ; )  Hopefully the finished product will be worth the pound of dust in my lungs from sanding!!!
